1시가 넘어서 식당에서 길 건너에 있는 Wilderswil 역에서 Jung Frau행 등산기차를 탔다. 기차를 타기 전에 융후라우 철도기념 여권 등 등산에 필요한 인쇄물과 지도를 주었으나, 융후라우 등산로정에 대하여 제대로 파악해 볼 여유는 없었다. 중간에 세 곳? 에서 기차를 바꿔 타며 정상으로 향하였다. 각 구간마다 승무원이 차표를 조사하였다. 일행중 여자 한 분이 차표를 도중에 잃어버렸으나, 가이드가 20명 단체 기차권을 구입한 영수증을 검표원에게 제시하여 무사하였다.

 

선로 옆으로 산록에는 스위스인의 별장들이 많아서 주말에 이용하고 별장들이 비싸다고 한다. 집집마다 연료용으로 장작을 비치하였다. 그린델발트(Grindelwald, 1034m)는 그림과 같은 알프스 정경이 펼쳐져 융후라우 주변에서 가장 인기가 높은 리조트 지구이다. 또 융후라우로 가는 중간 기착지로 다양한 하이킹 코스가 있어 항상 많은 관광객이 붐빈다고 한다. 역에서 좀 떨어진 곳에 Youth Hostel도 있다고 한다.

우리가 탔던 기차의 코스를 집에 와서 점검해 보니 다음과 같았다.

결과로는 Jungfrau 열차 선로로 산의 정면을 한바퀴 돈 셈이 되었다.

 

  상행코스는 경사가 완만한 코스로 Zweiluetschinen에서 좌측(서쪽?)으로 가다가

Grindelwald(1034m)에서 우측(동쪽?)으로 꺾어져 올라갔다.

 

Wilderswil (584m) - Zweiluetschinen (653m) - Burglauenen - Grindelwald (1034m) -

Kleine Scheidegg (2061m) - Eigergletscher (2320m) - Eigerwand (2865m)

-Jungfraujoch (3454m)

 

 

  하행코스는 Kleine Scheidegg에서 급경사를 타고 Lauterbrunnen (796m) 계곡으로 내려오는 코스였다. 톱니바퀴 열차여서인지 내려오다가 멈추기도 하고, 시간이 더 지체되었다.

융후라우의 중간 이상인 Kleine Scheidegg (2061m) - Eigergletscher (2220m) 사이는 야생화의 초원이라고 한다. 여기에는 아이거 북벽에 있던 1924년 옮겨온 옛 미텔레기 산장이 있다고 한다. 아이거 북벽의 등반을 증언하는 전시관으로 교회가 있다. 또한 등반 중 목숨을 거둔 69명의 산악인을 새긴 추모석이 있다고 한다.

We got on the Jungfrau line train from Christine restautrant after 1 o'clock. Wilderswil train station is located across the street. We received a map and print necessary to mountain climbing and Jungfrau railway Memorial passport before we take the train. But there was no room to see it to understand properly about Jungfrau trail information. We transferred to different train three times towards the top. Crew investigated the ticket to each section. A woman of the party had lost the ticket on the way, but it was safe by guide's presenting the group receipts purchased the 20 human rights. There were many Swiss wooden villas aside foothills. The guide said, they are used on the weekend and expansive. I looked firewoods for fuel at every door. Stream water was gray from the iceberg. There were so many mountains of limestone rock.

Grindelwald Station(1034m) is a resort area most popular Jungfrau scene around the Alps, such as the one shown on the spread. They also want to have a variety of hiking trails in the stopover to Jungfrau, and many tourists is always crowded. There is also a Youth Hostel at some distance from the station. Our train turned to right way from Grindelwald. We turned to left at Kleine Scheidegg Station(2061m) and went up to Jungfraujoch(3454m).

There are many wildflowers on meadow in the middle of more than Jungfrau, between Kleine Scheidegg (2061m) and Eigergletscher (2220m) in summer. There is old Mittellegie hut which had been moved in 1924 from the north wall of the Eiger (3970m). There is a church as the exhibition hall to witness the climbing of the Eiger north wall. Also, there is the memorial stone carved 69 climbers, who lost the life during climbing.

 

Down course was a steep slope that we have to come down to Lauterbrunnen (796m) valley suddenly from Kleine Scheidegg(2061m). You could be also stoped to come down, because the gear train is slow and time has been delayed.

As a result, the passengers of moumtain train could tour around the front side of Mt. Jungfrau along the railway
